on task

It's April. I love spring, and I love warm weather, but for some reason instead of getting me motivated as it usually does, I am feeling extremely sluggish, just floating through my day.

I am finding it challenging just to get myself going each day. It is now a quarter to ten, and I am in my pajamas. So I made a list.

I have always been a list person, for some reason crossing things off the list as I get things done helps me to feel like I've accomplished something great!

Maybe it will help me stay on task, but then again, floating really hasn't been so bad. And I think it's perfectly ok to have our lesser productive times.

Matt, on the other hand has been keeping his big muscles busy! We're getting plumbing in this week, a roof on by next week- he'll be nearly ready to give me a brand new master suite for our anniversary at the start of May! Although I've said it many times before, I must say I am really impressed.

here is our closet/dresser nook, the view from our back door, and the trusses for our roof!

I hope there's nothing wrong with being in pajama's at a quarter to ten! You'd fit right in in this house these days. :) I do the list thing too - just makes me feel better. I even go so far as to write something that has already been done just for the pleasure of seeing it crossed off.

COOL room! I miss you. I am calling you tomorrow. Danny is away for the next 10 days and I think I want to head to Utah.
I like that you are okay with some floating. I agree. Everything in life has seasons...including a little floating now and then! My kids love a good floating session once or twice...or three times a week. Depends. It IS hard not to feel guilty when nothing is crossed off the list!!

Hey! You're getting a new room! How are you?? Sorry about the dropped call, and never getting back to you. I was lurking around on your blog and had to say hi, though I feel totally embarassed! Nicole was here this week and telling me about your sweet little girl. Those pictures of her in her blessing dress are the best.
So where are you going--- which graduate program? Good luck with the stress-- miss you---
