earth day
We were a little late in our earth day celebrations- but we got some good activities in to help connect with and make beautiful our wonderful earth!
once we got outside though the wind picked up and made things a little bit challenging!

We are not quite in the position to plant a vegetable garden with our upcoming events and move- so we thought we'd plant some flowers!
We broke up the massive dirt clods, used water to help soften the dirt, and broke the dirt up some more. It was a little more work than the kids had anticipated, but they lasted quite a while working with me, and then resorted to poking the dirt with a spear like tool, and filling their holes with water.
Quality.
It's amazing how good it feels to just get down and work in the dirt!
