the many faces of Lulu

Matt mentioned after looking at my last post that Lulu's face is always dirty in the pictures I post.

Her face is clean in these photos, but if you look closely you'll notice her skin is chapped around her mouth.
That sweet skin is pretty sensitive, and the constant wiping usually results in some irritation. So, I've reduced the wiping, and her skin has healed.

The result though; nearly constant messy face.

Anyone have ideas on better ways to deal with this?

Oh, and Lulu's developed a recent obsession with the camera- a turn around from her attitude not too long ago. So now I hear quite frequently "mom, get your camera"!

I meant to comment earlier, but anyway- I have used a product called Aquaphor for my babies chapped faces. It works great, is clear, and can be used as often as you like. I put it on my boys several times a day as needed.

oh, you can find it in the baby isles near the diaper creams at just about any grocery/dept store.
