It Was Time.

I have a hard time letting go of my babies- letting them grow up and change, especially if I have anything to do with it. For that reason both my children have gone too long without their first hair cuts. Ezra still usually goes a little long between hair cuts because I can't bear it!

Matt's been saying it was Lulu's time for weeks now, and today I finally gave in.
She has this sweet baby-fine hair that has gotten long fast. And when her hair is done it's pretty cute, but considering we do it two to three times a week, it was time for the straggly hair to go.

When asked if she wanted to cut off the baby hair Lulu simply said, "sometimes I want to cut off my baby hair, other times I don't". She agreed to do it though, so away we went.

She was pretty patient, sat still, then got a little tired of the sitting still. All in all though, it went pretty well.

We were all pretty satisfied with the results!

I am so with you, Kiersten. she does look better all trimmed up, though she wasn't ever short of being anything but an angel. I let Sophie have jewish locks and a comb over for months before I finally go the courage to tame those locks, and I am glad I did. We love every little hair on them, don't we?
