ONE

Our baby is ONE.

She is quite the little dumpling

Smiley and friendly,

as long as people stay at a distance.

Her favorite thing is to wave and reach for people- but once they start to reach back for her,

she pulls away.

only on her terms:)

She loves her brothers and sister.

And LOVES her dad.

She crawls still, unless she has something to pull herself up to,

then she walks along the edges of whatever she can.

She loves to climb, and often puts her leg high up on something- attempting to climb it

even if it's nearly as tall as her:)

She loves to say "hi"

and waves.

She says "dada"

but not quite "mama" yet.

She loves to dance

and gets so excited when her daddy plays the guitar or all of us sing.

She loves babies,

both real and pretend.

She will try to get close and cuddly to babies,

and little ones her size- she will get as close as she can to them...

so close, she practically sits on them:)

She cuddles, rocks and pats baby dolls

and will even give them a kiss from time to time.

We certainly love this little dumpling baby.
