these days...

Lulu has discovered the joy of bike riding and is out daily on her princess bike.

We've gone up the canyon a few times to fish- this last time though, Matt thought he'd shake things up a bit- and caught himself!

Actually, his hook got caught on some branches as he was reeling in his line. When he pulled on the line to free it- the hook came free and flew right for him. It hit him in the chest, the hook pierced through his shirt, and lodged into his skin- pretty deeply at that. When he tried to pull it out the nasty barb would not let him free- even after pulling with all his might! We finally cut the line, drove home, and he cut the end off the hook and pushed it through his skin to make a second piercing, so he was able to push the wicked little hook out of his skin. It was a pretty rough experience.

Zman has become obsessed with climbing. He climbs anything from trees, to fences, to doorways.

And Gibbs- he is already over a month old. I can't believe how fast it all goes, and how big he is for that matter. He graces us with a smile here and there. He loves to eat and sleep. The kids still think he is the greatest thing. We are so thrilled he is here with us.

so these days have been fun and filled with good things. We've had Matt all to ourselves for a couple of weeks now, and we are gearing up for the busy school year. We are looking forward to preschool and soccer for Z, possibly some dance for Lulu, the great milestones of a growing Gibbs, and the crazy new world of graduate school for Matt.
