he-men

E-man and my 'He-man' are working on our addition right now.

Matt and his dad poured the foundation and stem wall last week.(it's great to have so much knowledge about this stuff between Matt, his dad and brothers) Now the floor is on it's way in. E-man is out there all the time, eager to help measure or snap the chalk line. I'm pretty excited about it all. I do feel a little sad that we won't be enjoying it for a super long time as we will be leaving this little house in a few months, but we'll enjoy it while it lasts!

I didn't quite realize the skills this 'he-man' of mine had when I married him. Sure I knew he was kind, loving, not to mention dashing. But I have been pleasantly surprised over the years at just what a talented and hard worker he is in many areas. It makes me thrilled that our E-man is just as impressed with Matt as I am, and follows his every move, striving to one day grow up into a He-man just like his dad!
