simple pleasures

We started a tradition last year with my family to have a little family get together and do things Jay loved to do on the anniversary of his death. This last week we went camping. It was a lot of fun to get outdoors, and we were pleasantly surprised to find "Jay" carved into our campsite picnic table when we got there.
Ezra got a kick out of dragging anything he could get this rope around!

I thought the sand on the pants was a pretty cute look!

Ezra had a great deal of fun climbing up and jumping off the big rocks.

Eliza bonded well with her aunt who was visiting. They have some crazy similarities in their personalities.

We had fun feeding the crayfish in order to get them to come out of hiding!

And, like I said, Ezra got a kick out of pulling anything he could get the rope around!

The river that ran by our campground had this little pool created in it by this little rock wall built in a circle cutting about halfway across the river itself. It had a slight current running through it, but for the most part was a calm little pool we played in for quite some time!

It was so nice to get outdoors and see some of this beautiful world we live on! I hope to get out again soon and see more of the simple pleasures life!
