lego towers

it sometimes surprises me the toys my kids go to again and again.

these lego blocks are a favorite.

we got them when Z was little, and they have been

part of many games for these guys.

from towers, to robots, to "birthday surprises" and cakes.

the favorite lately is to either build them as high as they can

or make a cake, sing happy birthday and break off

pieces for everyone.

Gibbs has caught on and will build a little tower

and then cover it with a blanket, or an item of clothing

usually his pajamas that he has left strewn around

then he finds me, grabs my hand and says

"come see, come see!" and proudly presents his "wrapped" gift.
