adoration

I've noticed lately that whether he is fussy or calm, Gibbs' eyes light up with adoration and joy when I come into his line of sight. And then, when I begin to talk with him he can hardly contain his excitement.

I am not saying I'm some supermom or anything, but there is this incredible bond and magic that exists between a mother and her children. I absolutely love to see that bond grow through the stages of their lives.

That unconditional adoration is one of the many things that makes this tough job so incredibly worth it.
