We had a lovely, simple and colorful Easter weekend!

We took some time to view these lovely videos on the life of our Savior. They are very simple, and beautiful and follow the stories as they are in the Bible.
I thought they added a splendid appreciation and understanding for our family on why we really celebrate Easter.

Our weekend also included
egg coloring
(the colors were so delightful, I thought perhaps we should make egg coloring a regular event)
egg eating
egg finding
Easter baskets
sweet treats
a lovely dinner
playing and being together.
It was quite nice!

Gibbs loved peeling the eggs.
He very carefully took the shells off one little piece at a time.
I love witnessing those moments when they become so engrossed in something- carefully and delicately working little by little to get the task done. Very precious in my opinion.

Today Lu still wanted to add color to our world.
She remembered a fun hair coloring activity her cousin did not too long ago
and thought we should give it a go!
I didn't have any paper chalk as my sister-in-law used on my niece (Lu's cousin), so we decided to use food coloring.
The results were super satisfying for Lu!
Although, my hands are pretty dreadfully stained.
But it all seems worth it for the moment of bliss Lu was able to experience:)
