new family favorite!
Things were getting a little crazy around our house today...
So, I thought a little sugar buzz and a good dose of chocolate might help! And what would be better than our dear Kelsey's signature brownies?
Yes, brownies from scratch... and let me tell you, they have quickly become a family favorite!
(now, this was me being reeeaalllllllly nice- I've had to give up chocolate for the time because it upsets mr. gibbs' belly)
We pulled out our big red mixer
Threw together some choice ingredients
Taste tested the batter- to make sure it was just right
And voila! they really are fantastic.
for anyone interested I thought I'd include the recipe:
mix together:
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. cocoa
3/4 c. butter softened
2 eggs
add:
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 Tbsp. vanilla
(batter is thick- resembles chocolate playdough) spread batter into pan and bake @ 350 for 8-12 minutes- will look a bit underdone, but once cooled will be fantastic!
